Softball wins in 10

Our Lady Panthers opened the season last night in exciting fashion defeating Class 3A Yorktown 1-0 in 10 innings. Both teams squandered scoring opportunities throughout regulation. Yorktown left a runner on 3rd in the 8th & Leavell was left stranded in the home half of the 8th. In the 10th, Dailey reached on an error

Softball Season Opener

The Varsity & JV softball teams open their seasons this afternoon vs Yorktown. Varsity starts @ 5, JV game will follow. Admission is $5 for adults & $2 for students. Early bird parking available on the old tennis courts, others may park @ Panther Stadium or the south parking lot

2015 All Star Classic

Congratulation to senior basketball player Tenasha Stephens. She has been selected to play in the Indiana Class Basketball All Star Classic. The game will be played @ Anderson University on Saturday June 20th. Congrats Tenasha & well deserved

2015-16 Sports Physicals

The sports physicals for next school year will be Wednesday April 8 @ 6:00. The cost of the physical is $15. The physicals will be conducted by the Elwood Medical Association, led by Dr. Robert Helm. There are no athletic events scheduled that night, so ALL 4th thru 11th grade students are encouraged to attend.

Lady Panther Basketball

Panther Fans its tourney time. The Lady Panthers open tournament play Tuesday Feb 10 @ Taylor HS. We play our arch rival, Alex Tigers @ 7:00. With a victory we will advance to the semi finals Friday night @ 6:00 vs Eastern. There is plenty of room on the bandwagon Panther fans so jump on

The 200 Free Relay team established a new school record again last Saturday during the IHSAA Sectional. The team consists of Karsyn Powell, Emma Kelly, Celeste Phelps, & Meredith Helpling. Congratulations ladies.

Senior Austyn Bragg is the lone surviving Panther in the state bowling tournament. He finished 9th in the sectional & finished high enough in the regional to qualify for the semi state this Saturday Feb 14. Good luck this weekend Austyn!

Seniors Dakota Cole & Tyler Hoel will continue their respective careers Saturday Feb 14 @ New Castle HS. Both of them finished 4th in the IHSAA Regional to qualify for the IHSAA Semi State. Good luck men

Winter Sr Night

The athletic department will honor winter sport athletes Friday night. The boys basketball team will host Frankton Friday night & between games the Seniors from boys basketball, girls basketball, cheerleading, swimming, & wrestling will be recognized with their parents. The Panther Band Seniors will be recognized @ halftime of the varsity game. Please come out
